About Camelback Medical Centers

Camelback Medical Centers began with a simple belief: when people are truly listened to, educated, and given the right care, their lives can change. That belief was shaped by Dr. Mike’s own experience as a young adult recovering from a serious car accident.

At just 18 years old, Dr. Mike spent months in constant pain—missing school, sitting out of sports, and searching for answers that never came. After trying multiple treatments and being told there was no clear solution, he finally saw a chiropractor—skeptical, afraid, and unsure it would help. That first adjustment brought relief he hadn’t felt in six months, and with the right care and guidance, his body fully recovered. Experiencing firsthand how chiropractic care could restore movement, confidence, and quality of life didn’t just help him heal—it gave him a purpose.

After gaining experience in practice, Dr. Mike opened the first clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, originally known as Camelback Chiropractic. As more patients sought the same thoughtful, conservative approach to care, the practice grew—expanding to additional locations in Phoenix and Tempe, and eventually bringing that same patient-first model to Illinois.

While services have evolved to include physical therapy, spinal decompression, and conservative medical pain management, ownership has never changed, and neither has the mission. More than 30 years later, Camelback Medical Centers remains focused on the same goal it started with: helping people heal, move better, and get back to the life they love.
